Bowie – Ontario Safe
Bowie is an approximately 1-year old neutered male who is Ontario Safe.
Bowie is looking for a very patient and experienced owner. He has a lot of global fear that can come out as reactivity to new things (people, animals, even sometimes new objects) he requires daily medication for his anxiety (many other options have been explored prior to the decision to put him on meds, with the guidance of his veterinarian) He is looking for somebody who will accept him with his quirks and help him to overcome his fears.
He has some skin sensitivity as well. Bowie lives with two other dogs and does great with them, he does great once he knows a dog but can come off strong, so needs slow introductions.
His medication costs are about 75/month – depending what your vet charges. He is on Fluoxetine and Trazadone. His food costs are about 70/month.
Bowie is not suitable for a home with cats or young kids.
A quiet home with a solid routine that enjoys going hiking would be Bowie’s ideal forever home!
Bowie is crate trained and house broken.
